Senior Tech Sales Manager

Our current portfolio includes over 20 companies, such as industry leaders like Finanzcheck, Dreamlines or HomeToGo. In this respect we cooperate closely with international top VC companies. 


To further scale one of our ventures in the IT sector, we are looking for a Senior Tech Sales Manager (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date at our Hamburg or Berlin office. The venture specializes in B2B IT services, which include support for time-critical IT projects, the establishment of fully integrated remote developer teams, and individual software development.


What you can expect from us


  • Operational development of the Tech Sales structures in DACH and the nearby EU countries:
    • Responsibility for the entire lead generation process and sales lifecycle
    • Creation and moderation of pitches
    • Preparation of proposals
    • Analysis of the IT infrastructure or architecture of potential customers together with a Tech Lead, as well as cost estimation for projects or MVP
    • Close cooperation with the existing sales team in Poland and coaching of this
    • Identification of up- / cross-selling potentials
  • Contact person and manager as a link between (potential) customers, the remote development teams in Poland and a consulting team
    • Definition of requirements and epics as well as support for the overall sprint planning according to Scrum
  • Management of ongoing projects (partly on-site at customer site, partly remote)
  • Gradual establishment of a sales and product team in Germany
  • Knowledge sharing and process optimization
  • Partner and Stakeholder Management


What you bring with you


  • You are a "digital native" with a technical background and are passionate about sales and business development
  • You are hands-on and work organized and on schedule
  • You have the ability to work in a team and to think and act independently and creatively
  • You have already gained several years of experience in technical sales or account management or have already successfully founded a (tech) start-up
  • You are interested in a variety of areas and enjoy working in a dynamic environment
  • In addition, you have an analytical personality with an interest in problem solving and possess strong presentation skills, both orally and in writing
  • An irrepressible curiosity and a tendency to strive for the impossible are your special characteristics
  • A readiness to travel in Germany and nearby EU foreign countries for project work is just as much a part of it for you
  • Fluent German and English, both spoken and written, are required
